Upgrading to Plus

How to Upgrade

  1. Click the "Upgrade your plan" button (top right, with star icon)

  2. Review the Plus plan features and pricing

  3. Choose your billing option:

    • Monthly - $20/month

    • Annual - $240/year

  4. Click "Get Plus"

  5. Enter your payment information

  6. Complete the payment through Stripe

After successful payment, you'll see: "Payment successful! Your account is now premium."

Managing Your Subscription

View Your Subscription Status

  1. Click your user avatar (top right)

  2. Select "Settings"

  3. You'll see your current subscription status

You'll see:

  • Current plan (Free or Plus)

  • Renewal or expiration date

  • Subscription status (Active or Cancelled)

Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Click your user avatar (top right)

  2. Select "Manage Subscription"

  3. This opens the Stripe customer portal in a new tab

  4. Follow the instructions to cancel or change your plan

Change Your Billing Cycle

  1. Open "Manage Subscription" (Stripe portal)

  2. Select your new billing preference (monthly or annual)

  3. Changes take effect on your next billing date

Data Retention Settings (Plus Only)

  1. Click your user avatar (top right)

  2. Select "Settings"

  3. Scroll to "Data Retention"

  4. Choose your retention period:

    • Select days (1 to 7 years / 24,955 days)

    • Or check "Keep data indefinitely"

  5. Click "Save"

Conversations older than your selected retention period will automatically be deleted.

Billing & Invoices

View Your Invoices

  1. Open "Manage Subscription" (Stripe portal)

  2. Navigate to the Invoices section

  3. Download or view past invoices

Update Payment Method

  1. Open "Manage Subscription" (Stripe portal)

  2. Go to Payment Methods

  3. Update your card or payment details

Billing Issues

If your payment fails, you'll receive an email notification. Update your payment method in the Stripe portal to avoid service interruption.

Common issues:

  • Card declined - Verify your card details and contact your bank

  • Failed payment - Update payment method in Stripe portal

  • Subscription didn't activate - Wait a few minutes, then refresh the app

Common Questions

Can I Cancel Anytime?

Yes. Plus plan subscribers can cancel anytime with no penalties. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.

Can I Switch from Monthly to Annual?

Yes. Open "Manage Subscription" in the Stripe portal and change your billing cycle. Changes take effect on your next renewal date.

What Happens When I Cancel?

  • Plus plan features stop at the end of your billing period

  • You revert to Free plan features

  • Your conversation history is retained based on Free plan limits

  • You can resubscribe anytime

Is There a Free Trial?

You can use the Free plan indefinitely with limited features. This is our free trial equivalent—explore all of ISMS Copilot's core functionality at no cost.
