4-hour UTC bins
ISMS Copilot does not start a personal timer on your first message. Usage is tracked in fixed 4-hour windows in UTC, starting at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 20:00 UTC. When the bin ends, credits (and Free message counts) reset for the next bin.
Unlimited does not commercially cap that window. The usage pane says Unlimited instead of a credit countdown.
Free vs paid
| Free | Capped paid | Unlimited | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Credits per bin | 10 | Essential 25, Plus 50, Standard 100, Pro 250, Business 500 | None. Shared pool is not capped at a token limit. |
| Message cap | 10 successful messages per bin | Unlimited messages (credits still apply) | Unlimited messages |
| Conversation size | 300,000 tokens per conversation; does not reset with the bin, start a new conversation | No per-conversation cap | No per-conversation cap |
| When empty | Wait for reset or upgrade / trial | Continue on a faster model (overflow, up to 2x; solo Plus to Business accounts, not Essential, Advanced Data Protection, Slack, or team pools), wait for reset, Extra usage (team owners), or upgrade | Commercial token empty does not apply. Extra usage and overflow are off. Availability limits can still apply. |
Business is the top capped credit ladder (500 credits per 4h). It is not the maximum chat plan. Unlimited is the $1,000/month self-serve top chat plan. Buy it in the app.
